Spite Freedom 6TD
The Freedom ranges are spacious family caravans that have plenty of room to accommodate a family of six. In the 6TD model the front lounge converts into a large double or two single beds. At the rear of the caravan there are fixed bunk beds for the little ones and extra beds can be found in the middle by converting the dinette seating.
A slight compromise comes with the cooker with only a three ring hob and grill. However an optional over can be added for £165. The washroom is generous for space and even comes with a curtain to divide the shower area.
Prices for the Sprite Freedom 6TD start from £15,165.
Elddis Avante 576
This family caravan comes with all the mod-cons you could want. Everything a sky-scape sunroof to an ATC Trailer control system and the essential AKS stabiliser. The mid-kitchen even has an oven and grill as standard, yet only a dual hob.
Similar to the Spite Freedom, fixed bunk beds are at the rear of the caravan with space for either two singles or large double in the front seating area. This mid-van dinette area converts to a small double sleeping area rather than bunk beds.
As the most expensive of the three, prices for the Elddis Avante 576 start at £18,494.
Venus 580/6
Owned by the parent company of Lunar, they have invested their expertise in create lightweight lower cost alternatives for caravanners. This six-berth family caravan offers a slightly different layout to the two caravans above.
There are fixed bunk beds at the rear along with a good spaced washroom with corner shower pad. The mid-kitchen comes equipped with three burner hob and combi over-grill. An additional set of bunk bed can be assembled in the middle of the caravan, along with a large double at the front.
An optional plus pack can be purchased for just £499, including alloy wheels, AKS stabiliser, spare wheels, Al-Ko secure receiver, microwave oven and stereo radio along with MP3 and IPod connections.
