Unveiled last year at the Birmingham NEC, the record breaking Lego caravan is making a comeback this year!
This breath-taking caravan took 12 days to build between 12 certified professional Lego builders. It is constructed from 215,158 interlocking plastic blocks; even the toothbrush and frying pan are made from Lego!
This Lego caravan has held the top stop for the Guinness World Record’s largest caravan made from plastic blocks for the last 2 years. Measuring 3.6 metres long and 2.2 metres tall, visitors this year get to look inside the fully kitted out masterpiece. With a Lego made fridge, bed, seating area, working electronic lights and running water, it is a true piece of art and a must see at the show.
Accompanied by around 400 exhibitors and several celebrity faces, this year’s show will be packed with ample amount of buzz and excitement. Olympic cyclist, Bradley Wiggins will be opening the 2016 Caravan and Motorhome Show along with television presenters George Clark, Matt Allwright and Julia Bradbury. Plus don’t forget to talk to the industry experts for an abundance of free help and advice with anything related to caravanning and motorhoming.
The NEC show is the only one to display all the new 2017 caravans, motorhome, trailer tents and accessories from a number of different European manufacturers. Exhibiting live product launches from a multitude of companies including Bailey, Lunar and Swift. Bailey will feature their new Autograph Motorhome range this year. The range took 18 months to develop and consists of 6 models – a quartet of four-berth motorhomes and a set of heavier sixth-birth vans.
